Rio is a unique city in many ways. It is a city where nature collides with a thrumming metropolis. Rio is a city filled with a diverse mixture of sights, with mountainous backdrops, beautiful sandy beaches, Brazilian shanty towns and skyscrapers all merging together to make a truly unique sight. The proximity to the water makes the view of the city eye arresting and the light is always changing and very specific to this awesome city. It has a remarkable architectural heritage, my heart goes to Oscar Niemeyer’s houses, he made his mark in many ways in this region, as he did in so many parts of Brazil.

New York City is an endless source of creative inspiration whith it’s iconic skyline. It never sleeps, you feel so small and so big at the same time, I had one of the best moment of my life there, I felt so much freedom, I was struck by a palpable feeling of people just being who they want to be. I posit it’s because, whatever you’re into, there’s probably someone else of a similar demographic who shares your passion. There’s so many cool hidden places, shops, museums, bars.. and don’t start me on the food ! I really felt like home there.

No matter how many times I complain about Paris, my breath is invariably taken away when I pass Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Pont Neuf and the Grand Palais. This city has an old soul and you can still feel it at every corners.I like how Paris combines the beauty of a big busy city with a little flavour of a small village life whith it’s small shops, galleries and cafes you usually can see in a small town. I love bread and pastries shops and aroma…florist, flee market, museums, parks, Paris at night when its raining and all the city lights are reflecting in the water.
